Kamran Khalid

Our Practice pharmacist will deal with any medication reviews or queries within the Practice. He is able to see minor aliments and treat accordingly. He will also regularly review patient who are in care/residential homes. Patients are encouraged to book in with the Practice pharmacist for any medication reviews.

Clinical Pharmacist have been trained to deal with minor ailments (sore throats, cystitis etc.) and chronic diseases (coronary heart disease, chronic pulmonary disease, asthma and diabetes. All Medication queries should be booked in with him at the first instance. Any hospital discharge medication requests would also be dealt with by our Pharmacist.

They help care for women during pregnancy, delivery and after their baby is born. They run regular antenatal clinics, relaxation and parent craft classes. 

Community Nurses

Our district nurses are based within the health centre. These nurses provide general nursing care to patients who are ill at home or housebound. They also run daily clinics in the treatment room for dressings, blood tests, ear syringing and injections.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
