Veterans

Littleborough Group Practice takes a personal interest in all our patients who are Military Veterans or those who identify themselves as ex-forces.

The Practice Manager who herself is a Veteran and was a medic in the Royal Air Force and served in Iraq and Kosovo understands some of the challenges Veterans face.  The Practice is aware of a number of local services available in the local community.

Op Courage is a "veterans" mental health transition, intervention and liaison service.  This is a specialist service for ex-armed forces veterans and service personnel who are approaching discharge to support and recongise the early signs of mental health.

For further information please visit www.nhs.uk/opcourage  If you would like to be referred you can do this by either contacting them direct 0800 652 2867 or email VTILS@cntw.nhs.uk
