Engage Consult

Visit our Engage Consult online service to request help from Littleborough Group Practice and receive a same day response when your request is made within these daily Engage Consult request hours.


When you wish to make an appointment please telephone 01706 393 000 or call at reception. We reserve a number of appointments in each of our surgeries to ensure that people with urgent problems can be seen.

If your problem is not of an urgent nature, we ask that you book a routine appointment with the clinician of your choice. We offer pre-bookable appointments two weeks in advance to reduce the amount of non-attendees.

Ways in which you can book an appointment:

Automated System

When ringing the surgery press option 2 and this will take you to the automated service where you can pre-book an appointment with a doctor/nurse of your choice.

Telephoning the Surgery

Reception have few appointments which can be pre-booked 2 weeks in advance.

Online System

If you have previously been registered with Vision Online you will need to re-register with our new system Patient Access, you can do this in reception the details will be printed off for you. There are a number of pre-bookable appointments that you can book online through Patient Access.

Book on the Day Appointments

Appointments are taken on the day at 8 am by phoning the surgery or coming into the surgery at 8 am. They can also be booked on the day at 8am on the automated system by pressing option 2.

Telephone Consultations

The surgery does offer telephone consultations, however it is important to only book a telephone consultation if you believe your issue can be dealt with over the telephone. These are taken only on the day at 8am.

Extended Hours

The surgery does offer appointments on Monday evening and Wednesday early morning to help those patients who cannot attend the surgery during normal working hours.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
